Teaching
Education has played an important part in my career, complementing my writing and editing work. With an MA in Art History from Stanford, I've had the privilege to teach and work in educational publishing.
I served full-time as a professor of Art History at the New Hampshire Institute of Art for 7 years, teaching emerging artists earning their BFA and MFA degrees. I've edited educational publications for the Whitney Museum of American Art, MoMA, and other museums. I also develop instructional materials in the arts, history, and the humanities for McGraw-Hill, Pearson, and other textbook publishers.
